To Mark the 4th Edition of DimKod Charity Foundation

Ladies and Gentlemen, esteemed guests, and cherished beneficiaries,

Good evening, and welcome to the 4th edition of the DimKod Charity Foundation. It is an absolute honour to stand before you today as we celebrate another milestone in our journey of love, compassion, and service to humanity.
Four years ago, we united with a simple yet profound vision: to uphold the legacy of our beloved mother, Mama Christiana Kodi Dimas—Mama Mai Chinkafa. Her life demonstrated the power of generosity, even when resources were limited. She showed us that kindness is not judged by what we possess, but by how generously we share it with others.

Today, as we gather here at the Camp View Event Centre in Jalingo, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude. We stand united in our shared mission to provide succour to the needy, just as Mama did throughout her life. It is because of her spirit, her resilience, and her unyielding dedication to serving others that DimKod Charity Foundation exists today.

Over the past four years, we’ve had the privilege of touching the lives of hundreds of widows, orphans, out-of-school children, and other less privileged members of our community. Through food distributions and other supports, we’ve worked to alleviate the burdens of those in need. But more than that, we’ve been able to offer something far more precious—hope. Hope for a brighter tomorrow, hope that someone cares, and hope that we are all part of something bigger than ourselves.

This year, as we celebrate the 4th Edition, I am proud to announce an important milestone in the foundation's growth. Plans are already underway to launch our official website. This website will extend our reach, allowing DimKod Charity Foundation to connect with volunteers, donor agencies, and partners from around the world. With this global presence, we will be able to amplify our efforts and bring lasting change to even more communities in need.

As part of this year’s activities, we have expanded our support to include orphanages within the Jalingo metropolis, ensuring we reach a diverse range of communities, including those of the Muslim faith. This expansion reinforces our message that we provide succour to all in need, regardless of tribe, religion, creed, political inclination or any other affiliations. We hope that future editions of this event will broaden the foundation’s activities to include different aspects of human capacity development, educational supports, and financial assistance, enabling us to address even more areas where support is
needed.

As we reflect on our collective impact over the years, let us take a moment to appreciate all that we have accomplished. We have provided food for families struggling to make ends meet. We have given hope to children in despair and supported widows, not just with material assistance but with emotional strength, reminding them that they are not alone.
However, as we celebrate these achievements, we acknowledge that our work is far from finished. There are still many families in need of support, children who need education, and communities in need of love and care. The journey ahead is long, but I am confident that we will continue to make an even greater impact.

On behalf of the entire DimKod Charity Foundation team, I want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone here today. Whether you are a donor, a volunteer, or a beneficiary, each of you plays an integral role in making this foundation a success. Your continued support and dedication ensure that Mama’s vision will never fade.
As we move forward, we will continue to build on the work we’ve done. We will extend our reach to more communities. We will ensure that no one is left behind and work tirelessly not only to provide relief but also to inspire lasting change.
I would like to extend a special thank you to my brothers, Henry, Reuben, and Friday, whose unwavering commitment to this cause has been a driving force behind all we have achieved. To all our supporters and volunteers, your contribution has made it possible for us to come this far.
Mama’s light continues to guide us. Her love, her kindness, and her dedication to others live on in each of you. Let us carry this torch forward, knowing that through our collective efforts, we can create a world that is kinder, more compassionate, and more united.
